Lucio Fontana / Antony Gormley
Curated by Luca Massimo Barbero
Collateral Event of the 59th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia
Negozio Olivetti
Piazza San Marco 101, Venice
This exhibition is built around an encounter and dialogue between Lucio Fontana’s drawings and sculptures, made between 1946 and 1968 and a series of drawings, workbooks, models and sculpture by Antony Gormley that touch on all the aspects of his research. This unprecedented juxtaposition is presented at the Negozio Olivetti, a space designed by Carlo Scarpa in 1956 and considered an architectural landmark.
Exhibition by Associazione Arte Continua in collaboration with Fondazione Lucio Fontana, FAI - Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano, B17 and GALLERIA CONTINUA.
