MACAAL reopens after major renovations, transforming its galleries into a permanent home for one of the world’s most significant African art collections. This new display highlights the museum’s rare and comprehensive collection of contemporary African art, celebrating the continent’s cultural richness and its diaspora from the past century to the present day. Organized into themed galleries, the exhibition explores topics such as decolonization, ecological matters, spirituality and Afro-diasporic movements, offering new perspectives and dialogues.
