Moataz Nasr, influenced by his cultural heritage and the Sufi teachings of his uncle, uses a personal language to explore contemporary issues. His work is poetic, addressing universal themes like solitude and indifference. 'Dome', one of his creations, resembles a yurt with wooden slats resting on crystal. Soft light shines from its center, projecting the Arabic word for 'love' skyward, creating a space for spiritual contemplation. This piece symbolizes hope, compassion, and unity, celebrating the potential for dialogue and understanding between cultures and people.
